“The Nation Will Become Ungovernable If There Is Any Conspiracy To Thwart People’s Will” – Fani-Kayode To Peter Obi

Femi Fani-Kayode, the new media director of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, recently made a strong statement regarding the Nigerian presidential elections.

In his statement, Fani-Kayode accused Peter Obi, the vice-presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), of wanting to “pull the whole house down and burn everyone in it” because he cannot bear the fact that his party lost the elections. He warned that the APC cannot be a punching bag for the opposition forever and that if there is any foul play or conspiracy to thwart the people’s will, the nation will become ungovernable.

Fani-Kayode emphasized that there can be no more cheating, subterfuge, or dastardly tricks and that the APC has seen enough of that over the last 63 years of Nigeria’s national existence.

His statement reads in parts;

“The only crime that Tinubu committed during the elections that Peter Obi cannot bear. And because you cannot bear the fact that you lost you want to pull the whole house down and burn everyone in it. Let this serve as a timely warning.

“We cannot be a punching bag for the opposition forever and soon we will react. Trust me when I tell you that if there is any foul play in this matter or any conspiracy to thwart the people’s will we will make this nation ungovernable.

“There can be no more cheating, no more subterfuge, no more games and no more dastardly tricks. We have seen enough of that over the last 63 years of our national existence. Do not test our will or underestimate our firm resolve”.

The statement serves as a warning to the opposition and a call to action for the APC to protect the integrity of the elections.
