Simon Ekpa, who claims to be a disciple of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has caused a stir on social media by sharing an alleged image of Nigerian president-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, in a sick condition.
The image was posted on Ekpa’s Twitter handle, accompanied by a challenge to Tinubu’s camp to post other pictures of the president-elect wearing a singlet to debunk the image.
Tinubu has been absent from Nigeria since his election as the new president, pending court cases from opposition parties challenging his declaration as president-elect as fraud.
However, the authenticity of the alleged image shared by Simon Ekpa is yet to be confirmed. No official statement has been released by Tinubu’s camp regarding the matter.
