Our 355 Billion Was Used To Announce A Man Who Can’t Even Say A Word To Us – Fr. Ugwu Calls Out INEC

Rev. Fr Kelvin Ugwu, a Nigerian Catholic Priest serving in Gambia, has taken to his Facebook page to express his concern about the amount of money spent by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC Nigeria) in the just concluded Nigeria elections. According to him, INEC spent a whopping 355 Billion Naira ($771M) which is from the revenue generated from taxpayers.

The money was used to announce a man who cannot even say a word to the people, even on his birthday except through his aides. He further explained that the President-Elect is treated as the president, with security and other protocols which the Nigerian people must pay for. He questioned the utilization of such a huge amount of money and called for accountability.

His statement reads;

“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC Nigeria) spent 355 Billion Naira ($771M) in the just concluded Nigeria elections.

“The 355 Billion is from our Taxes. Your money, my money. It is from our revenue. Your money, my money.

“The 355 Billion produced a man who celebrated his birthday yesterday. He claimed to be 71.

“Constitutionally, the President-Elect is treated as the president, with security and other protocols which the Nigerian people must pay for.

“So, right now, we are the one bankrolling him. . .but you and I have no idea of his condition or where exactly he is.

“Our 355 Billion was used to announce a man who cannot even say a word to us, even on his birthday except through his aids.

“Yakubu used our 355 Billion to conduct selection, spent some to print papers, some to send text messages, some to buy a microphone to announce the selected president, then he pocketed the remaining one, clean mouth.

“Imagine what 355 billion can do if well utilized?

“Now, they don’t want us to complain. They want us to pretend like all is well. They even asked us to pray for the president they erected for us.

“And trust our today’s churches na. Sharp sharp, on a Wednesday o, Wednesday of all days. . . they organized service by fire by force to pray for the erected president.

“TV stations showed their faces. Job well done! Those in South-South even cut a cake in the absence of the celebrant. Sycophancy just got redefined. It is called Syco for a reason. Kolo psycho!

“Nothing wey person no go see…

“Is this what we are going to be seeing?”
