Ibrahim Abdullahi, a Twitter user, has shared a tragic incident via his official Twitter handle. According to his tweet, his father and a friend died in a fatal accident while returning from a congratulatory visit to Kashim Shettima, the vice president-elect. The accident occurred along the Jos-Bauchi axis, and the cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
Abdullahi’s statement reads: “Dear Sen Kashim Shettima, my father and his friend paid a congratulatory visit to you on Saturday, they were travelling back home today and had a fatal accident along the Jos-Bauchi axis. They both lost their lives.”
This incident is coming at a time when there are ongoing controversies surrounding the outcome of the presidential election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on February 25, 2023.
