Manipulation Discovered In Results Of 34 Polling Units In Rivers State

Premium Times has reported its discovery of evidence of vote alteration and manipulation in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, during the 2023 Presidential election in Rivers State.

The evidence was discovered during a review of the results posted on INEC Results Viewing Portal (IReV) as of March 16. Premium Times found evidence of manipulation in around 34 polling units in Rumuokoro Ward in Rivers State, where result sheets were uploaded on IReV indicating manipulation such as erasing and swapping of results, favouring the APC candidate.

For instance, in a polling unit in Obio/Akpor LGA, rumour had it that the APC got 17 while 2 was added to make it 217, whereas the LP’s 227 was originally recorded but replaced with 027.

Results of 1,116 out of 1,211 polling units in Obio/Akpor LGA revealed that the candidate of the Labour Party scored 73,111 votes while APC scored 17,158, which was different from the results earlier announced by INEC that indicated APC polled 80,239 while LP polled 3,829 from the LGA.
