BRT Corridor Enforcement Lied Against The Three Brt Staff

It was very unfortunate when we interviews the three staff of BRT, Mr Idowu Olayinka, Mr Caleb Savior and Mr Andrew Ogoh, about the fight that erupt between the brt corridor enforcement on 3rd of April 2023.

Mr Idowu Olayinka explained that he received a call exactly 8:23pm on 3rd of April 2023 from their maintanace that the brt enforcement denied one of their buses access to moved out of the brt park at yamaha u-turn to gas station and rescues mission. Immediately he left where he was to yamaha and melt one of the enforcement inspector Shola akindeko.

While discussing with him, he insisted that the bus can’t moved out except he was given an instruction to allowed the bus out. In that process mr Idowu Olayinka makes some calls to their fleet manager and he also called the captain of the detained bus to moved the bus to the gate before other franchises blocked the entrance.

When sitting outside the gate waiting for call from their fleet manager, inspector Shola akindeko came outside with his phone, it quits unfortunate that mr Idowu Olayinka hand unknownly touched inspector shola akindeko hand and the phone fell down.

Inspector Shola akindeko took the phone from the floor, checked the screen and saw a scratched not knowing it just the screen guide, he walked up to Mr Idowu Olayinka immediately and said he has damaged his phone of 185,000 naira.

Mr idowu Olayinka told our correspondent that he checked the phone and discovered it just the screen guide but inspector Shola akindeko insisted that he will buy new phone of 185,000 thousand naira only.

When trying to settled the issue of the phone he heard a noise from one of the enforcement saying he will slapped mr Andrew ogoh, but before everyone noticed, the enforcement slapped him and four of the enforcement team rushed Mr Andrew ogoh with blow. Mr Idowu Olayinka said he rushed there trying to pushed andrew ogoh away from the scene but instead of the enforcement team to stopped the fight they continued blowing him seriously and also brought out 2by2 plank to beat him. Then he (idowu Olayinka) entered Andrew ogoh bus that was parked outside the gate to evacuate the captain away from the fight just to calmed the situation.

Five of the brt enforcement team entered the bus with mr andrew ogoh to continued the fight. and two were outside the window of the driver side tore my cloth and two enforcement came on board to blow my eyes and also switched off the bus engine. because they are not satisfied with the fight despite the fact that none of the brt captains touches them.

I switched on the engine of the bus back to evacuate mr andrew ogoh, so when i moved a bit they all alighted from the bus, not knowing that one man’o’war attached to the enforcement team still remains in the bus. Andrew ogoh stood up from the floor of the bus and sighted the man’o’war at the back of the bus and said this man is among those who beat him serious, the man’o’war replied that he wasn’t among. Andrew ogoh insisted that he was and start fight with the man’o’war in the bus, then mr caleb savior separate them and i slow down immediately before enforcement team came with their patrol bus to blocked us.

On that faithful day! we went to new oko oba police station at where we were locked up in the cell for three night without any positive respond from the enforcement boss.

On the fourth day we were charged to court but shocked to heard they lied against us to their boss csp adebayo akerele, that we kidnapped inspector shola akindeko to unknown place. In addition we spend 10days in the cell and Court granted us #150,000 bail with two shorties each. Case adjourned till may 3rd 2023.
