President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, thinks that the Supreme Court will agree that the president won the February 25 election.
Onanuga said this in response to the Supreme Court’s announcement about when they will make their decision on the appeals filed by presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar from the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi from the Labour Party.
Atiku and Obi went to the highest court to challenge Tinubu’s win in the recent presidential election.
But the Supreme Court said it will make a final decision on the appeals on Thursday.Onanuga wrote on X: “Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will make a decision about the appeals from the Labour Party and their candidate, Peter Obi, as well as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and their candidate, Atiku Abubakar.”
They are questioning the win of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their candidate, President Bola Tinubu, in the election that happened on February 25th.
We, the APC, are hopeful that we will win. We hope that the highest court will agree that the 8.9 million votes from Nigerians that made President Tinubu win last February are important.
