Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has revealed the secret thing he did to ensure the success of Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria.
According to Governor Umahi, he prayed fervently for Tinubu’s victory during the February 25 election.
He further disclosed that he never hid his supplication to God about Tinubu and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the election.
Meanwhile, Governor Umahi also revealed that the suspended Chairman of PDP, Ayu Iyorchia, not resigning was a blessing in disguise for the APC.
Speaking at the commissioning of a secondary school in Rivers State, Umahi said if Ayu had resigned, it would have been difficult for the APC to win the presidential election.
He thanked Ayu and commended him for his actions. Governor Umahi also called for the lifting of Ayu’s suspension so that he can suspend more PDP leaders.
