The United States Embassy in Nigeria has announced that it is now accepting Statements of Interest for the 2023 Ambassador’s Special Self Help (ASSH) program. The ASSH program provides modest grants to support small-scale community development projects. Recently, a remote community in Cross River partnered with the Emerging GenderPlus Outreach Team organization and received a grant to furnish and equip a community school, which will benefit over 500 children. The ASSH program is open to Nigerian communities that have identified a pressing need and have developed a plan to address it.
